Summary[]
Anna harvests her new crop of chili peppers with disastrous results.
Plot[]
Anna has spent her time growing a crop of chili peppers, her major crop for this particular rotation.
After gathering a bunch of them, she decides to cut them up and put them in some pepper miso soup. She reads the instructions to take the ingredients and mince them. She begins to mince the peppers, but does so using her bare hands.
Once she is done, Anna wipes her forehead in relief, only to suddenly feel a stabbing pain in her hands. She wonders what the stabbing feeling is, before realizing that it is morphing into that of a pure hot and burning feeling on both of her hands.
Desperate for help, Anna looks up on her phone about what to do, and reads that Alcohol, oil, etc are effective for rinsing off chemicals. Anna cries while holding a water bottle, as it's too late for that now.
Anna tries holding an ice pack and cries when she realizes that it can't do anything.
Later in the bath, Anna holds her hands in a bucket of water which only causes a stinging sensation.
That night while she sleeps, Anna continues crying as she uses an ice bag in a final attempt to make the burning stop, to no avail.
