Anna tries to grow carrots.
Plot[]
Anna has been growing carrots as this rotation's minor crop. Looking at her results, she notes that they grew splendidly. She decides to ease one out and have a look to check on them.
Anna goes for the healthiest one and slowly pulls it out. When she does though, it is completely skinny and lacking in nutrients, leaving her very sad and puzzled.
The next year, Anna is more successful at harvesting the carrots. She holds up one happily, noting that she finally got the harvest that she wished so much for. She then notices a worm-drilled hole and notes that she's so sick of having to cut them out.
Taking a knife, Anna slices off the top of the carrot in an attempt to get rid of the hole. When she does, it turns out that the carrot is hollow and full of beatles, several of which fall out.
Petrified by the sight of the bugs, Anna collapses on the ground. Her mother's angel soon appears and says that the parsley-like areas of the carrot are extra tasty, and that eveyr part of this carrot is highly nutricious.
Anna, still in shock, says that she'll never cut vegetables again.
