Anna Niwasaki (庭先 (にわさき) 杏菜 (あんな) , Niwasaki Anna) is a gardener, cook, and waitress at the restaurant where Chitose Azuma, Mihari Oyama, Arika Tachimi, and Tsubasa Inui have drinking parties after work.

Appearance

Anna is a woman in her mid-twenties with green eyes and shoulder-length red hair with short bangs and strands on either side that hang down past her chin and two strands that stick out on the back of her head. She is typically seen wearing a brown apron with flower-shaped buttons over a short-sleeved tan dress which in turn is worn over a black long-sleeved shirt. She also wears black shorts and grey sneakers. When she works in the garden, she is also seen wearing grey gardening gloves.

Personality

Anna has a friendly disposition and is shown to be very interested in gardening, however much of what she tries to grow turns out disastrously. She has a massive phobia of insects which tends to get in the way of her gardening.

When working as a waitress, she is shown to have a good relationship with her guests and it is implied that she takes her job very seriously.

Etymology

• The name Anna means "apricot" (杏) (an) and "vegetables" (菜) (na).
• The name Niwasaki means "garden" (庭) (niwa) and "destination" (先) (saki).

Trivia

• Anna is the protagonist of Niwasaki Garden, another series by Nekotofu that is also avaiable on Pixiv. The chapter "Mahiro and the Fan World" retroactively establishes that the series is set in the same universe as Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister! as Anna as a vendor at a convention selling yuri doujins.
  • The chapter "Mihari and the Drinking Party" also features Anna who appears as a waitress
• According to Nekotofu, Anna is based on himself. She was created for the series as a stand in for his own poor gardening skills, and was made female due to the fact that "no one would read a story about a man gardening".
