The Arcade is an arcade in Onimai. Mahiro Oyama used to frequent it during her first time in middle school, and eventually returns for a visit years later while running an errand.

History

Mahiro Oyama used to come here often during her first time in middle school.

Years later in "Mahiro's Little Adventure", Mahiro encountered it again by chance on her way home after leaving the house to purchase some anime folders. Seeing it, she decided to stop in and play some games. After deciding not to play a fighting game, she became interested in the Women-only section and ventured in, seeing it as a brand new world. Inside, she found a photobooth and tried it out, making a picture of herself with drawings of paws and cat ears. She soon ran out after hearing the voices of several girls entering the area

Afterwards, she decided to play a rhythm game and became aware of someone watching her. This person eventually put his hand on her shoulder, leading Mahiro to discover that it was the local Truant Officer. He proceeded to try and ask Mahiro if she should be in school, and what school and class she attended. Not going to school, Mahiro became frightened and was left unsure of what to do.

The Truant Officer eventually let her go, but Mahiro was so traumatized by the ordeal that she refused to leave the house again for awhile.
