Everyone and the Power Outage (みんなと停電, Min'na To Teiden) is Chapter 74.5 of Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!. It was originally published in Doujinshi Volume 25 which was released on May 5, 2023.
Summary[]
Mahiro and her friends share stories about what they did during the recent blackout.
Plot[]
At school, Miyo notes that the power outage the previous night was so scary. Asahi says that she was really excited about it. Mahiro notes that she'd figure that Asahi would be that way, while the others are equally amused by that statement.
Miyo notes that she had just gotten into the shower when the power went out, and this caused the hot water to turn off as well leaving her freezing cold. Nayuta notes that water heaters need electricity to run.
Mahiro asks Momiji how it was for her, and Momiji tells her story. As the lightning flashed outside, Kaede got very scared and lay across Momiji's lap asking her to save her. Momiji began to rub Kaede's hair, noting how spoiled Kaede is. Their mother Kasumi noted that thunder is the only thing that Kaede can't stand, to which Kaede notes that the sound is so scary. Momiji notes that she's fine as long as it's not a ghost, but notes that it does make her jump though. Hearing this, Kaede begins to creepily say that once upon a time there was a ghost who could control the lightning, leading Momiji to get frightened and tell her to stop.
At that moment, the power goes out, causing Momiji to scream. Kaede wonders if the power just went out, to which Kasumi agrees. Momiji screams, noting that Kaede just had to start a scary story right before this. Kaede rubs Momiji's hair, apologizing for doing that. Kasumi looks through the door for a flashlight. When she finds one, it doesn't go one when she clicks the switch, leading her to wonder if the connection is bad. After banging the end a few times on the table, the light finally came on. Unfortunately, it did so right at the moment that Kasumi was holding it directly under her face, causing a rather sister expression to be shown. Momiji shrieked and held Kaede in terror, nting that it was a ghost. Kasumi chuckled and noted that she shouldn't say that about a real person. Momiji was equally shocked as another bolt of lightning struck outside the apartment.
Back in the present, Momiji notes that a different bolt of lightning struck then. Asahi is completely confused, while Mahiro asks Momiji what she's talking about.
Miyo asks Nayuta what happened to her, and Nayuta notes that Chitose lost all of her work. Nayuta imagines the scenario, where Chitose becomes outraged when her computer screen goes dark from the lack of power and everything she worked on that day is lost forever.
