Kanata Senkawa (千川 (せんかわ) かなた, Senkawa Kanata) is the high-school aged older sister of Minato Senkawa. She is an avid online gamer who is part of a guild made up of herself, Ponta, Shiori, Lucas, Risachii, and Yuta Sakurada.

Appearance

It has been noted by Kanata that she and Minato resemble each other greatly, presumably having the same grey-colored hair and brown eyes. They resemble each other so much that Kanata believes that they look like twins when Minato is dressed in girl's clothing.

Personality

Kanata has been noted by Minato as having a very agressive and shameless personality. She regularly struts around in her underwear or wearing only a towel, despite Minato's attempts to point out that she shouldn't do that. She's also shown to be a rather lazy person, and it is mentioned that she regularly uses Minato as a gopher to run errands for her when she doesn't feel like doing it.

Ever since Minato served as a maid in Class 2-B's cafe during the cultural festival, Kanata has taken to dressing Minato up as a girl whenever she wants. She's estatic about this, as she believes that they look like twins when he's dressed up like this. She has also taken advantage of this in order to have Minato fill in for her at events such as an IRL meetup for an online guild that she's a part of because she considered it a hassle to go. She is also shown to have a devilish side with this, as she once forced Minato to sleep in her bed wearing one of her nightgowns as retribution for him using some of her expensive shampoo.

Similar to Minato, Kanata is an avid gamer. She is also part of an online guild for an unspecified game, though she did not enjoy being a part of it enough to actually go to a meetup with the guild that she promised.

Etymology

• The name Kanata means "far away" (kanata).
• The name Senkawa means "thousand" (千) (sen) and "river" (川) (kawa).
