Mahiro's Colorful Life

Mahiro's Colorful Life (まひろとからふるな日常, Mahiro To Karafuru Na Nichijo) is a special full-color chapter of Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!. It was originally published exclusively in Tankōbon Volume 6 which was released on April 22, 2022 in Japan, and October 25, 2022 in North America.

Summary[]

Mahiro reflects on how colorful her life seems now since she was transformed into a girl.

Plot[]

One morning, Mahiro wakes up and yawns, noting that she woke up before her alarm went off today.

As Mahiro heads downstairs, she notes that today feels like a good day and notes that there's something special about it. Mahiro says good morning to Mihari, who says good morning back.

The two siblings eat their breakfast with smiles, and Mihari sees Mahiro off as she heads off to school with her friends. As Mahiro walks to school, she notes the life she had shut in her room was drab, grey, and lifeless. But that ever since she became a girl, everything seems so vibrant and colorful.

Mahiro takes a good look at herself and realizes that it really is colorful. Nayuta points out that they are in the opening color pages after all. Momiji tells the two not to suddenly go all meta on them.

This is the first chapter of the manga to include full-color pages.
This chapter is notable for its meta nature with plenty of fourth wall breaks, as Mahiro notices the color around her and Nayuta points out that they are in the opening color pages.
