Mahiro goes to a bookstore and finds some unexpected people in the adult's section.
Plot[]
Mahiro heads over to the Tachikawa Bookstore. As she slips inside and starts to browse, she notes that ordering online is convenient, but that it's sometimes nice to visit a brick-and-mortar store. She sees something that looks interesting, and notes that this store in particular has helped her through some hard times. Her eyes drift over to the adults-only section and notes that if she tried going in there looking like this, it doesn't sound like a good idea.
Mahiro then notices her classmates Yuta and Minato attempting to sneak into the adults-only section, and thinks that they are just precious for trying to do so. She smiles to herself and notes that thirteen might be a little young, but that it's only natural for teenage boys to be interested in that kind of thing. She also notes that they must have a lot of guts to be here at all.
She decides to pretend that she never saw them, but they catch a glimpse of her running away and get worried that she might blow their cover. The two run away before Mahiro has a chance to talk to them.
Mahiro notes that that is too bad, but knows that it is understandable for a boy to do that when a girl spots them. She thinks that maybe she'll leave one of her old magazines lying around near the school for them to find as a way to make it up to them.
Just then, a voice recognizes Mahiro and calls out to her. Mahiro turns around and sees a girl wearing glasses that she doesn't recognize. The girl says "It's me" while pulling on her hair, and Mahiro realizes that it is Miyo wearing a disguise. Mahiro asks her why she's wearing a disguise, but Miyo instead asks if Mahiro is into the kind of adults-only content. Mahiro vehemently denies it, saying that she just happened to be passing through this section. Miyo accepts the answer, saying that Mahiro almost had her convinced that Mahiro was a boy-love (BL) loving fujoshi. Mahiro is shocked that Miyo put those two things together.
Mahiro asks Miyo if she's into that, something that Miyo denies. She admits, while asking Mahiro to keep it a secret, that she's really into girl-on-girl manga. Mahiro points out that she already knew that. Miyo tells Mahiro that she can't tell anyone, and Mahiro promises not to, all the while thinking that it's not like Miyo was ever trying to hide it.
Miyo asks Mahiro what she's into. Mahiro begins to say that she's into Noncon, but quickly backpedals and says that she typically reads a lot of Shonen manga while admitting that Yuri manga is fine. Miyo gets excited about the latter, and begins piling Yuri books into Mahiro's hands recommending that she read all of them. Mahiro sees the crazy look on Miyo's face and realizes that she's inviting her to share in her obsessions.
Eventually, the two leave the bookstore and Mahiro remarks that she sure bought a lot today. Miyo tells her that she should tell her what she thinks once she's read what she recommended. Mahiro thinks to herself that Miyo is making way too big of a deal of this with the disguise, as it's not like she was after anything explicit. Miyo says that she's really glad that Mahiro wasn't put off by her tastes. Mahiro points out that everyone is into something weird, and that she should be more confident in herself. She tells Miyo that she shouldn't need to lie about things like that, and points out that she's not exactly the best at hiding it. Miyo is left confused and shocked by that statement.
Mahiro smells something sweet and notes that it smells very good. The two realize that it is a crepe stand, which Miyo notes is very popular these days. Mahiro notes that she doesn't eat crepes that much, which Miyo is surprised at. Miyo says that she'll treat Mahiro to one, calling it a bribe for Mahiro's silence. Mahiro tells her that she doesn't need to, but Miyo insists since they're already there.
Miyo orders a strawberry crepe, while Mahiro orders a banana crepe. Mahiro takes one bite and mentions that it is so good. Mahiro tells Miyo that she loves her, and Miyo laughs calling Mahiro a kidder. Mahiro asks Miyo if she wants to try a bite of hers, which causes Miyo to get aroused. She decides to do so and leans over to take a bite.
This action is witnessed by Momiji and Asahi who just happened to be passing through. Momiji asks them what they're doing, and Miyo jumps up in shock. This causes her to start choking on the crepe, and Momiji apologizes while giving her some tea to wash it down. As Miyo recovers, Mahiro explains that they just ran into each other. Momiji says that that isn't fair and decides to buy a crepe as well, which causes Miyo to think to herself that this won't work at all. Mahiro asks Asahi why she's not buying a crepe, and Asahi cheerfully says that she's flat out broke.
Momiji returns with her crepe and asks Mahiro if she'll try a bite of hers. Before Mahiro can give a reply, Momiji forces it into Mahiro's mouth. Miyo gets aroused and smiles when Mahiro remarks how good it is. Miyo takes off her glasses and decides that she just prefers to watch Yuri instead of participating in it. Mahiro tells her to control herself with the real thing, and Miyo agrees, leaving Momiji confused.
It is revealed that Yuta and Minato imagined Mahiro calling them naughty for being in the adults-only section of the bookstore.
