Mahiro and her friends study over at Asahi's house where they meet her older brother Yuya for the first time.
Plot[]
At the Ōka Residence, Mahiro, Momiji, Asahi, Miyo, and Nayuta are having a study session in Asahi's room. Mahiro suggests that they start with Math, which causes Asahi to groan. Momiji points out to Asahi that they're here to help her study. Mahiro notes that the next test appears to be on probability, with Nayuta suggesting that they draw a tree diagram. Asahi begins to feel dizzy trying to figure out the terms 'probability' and 'tree diagram', before apparently melting into a pile of goo much to Miyo's surprise and Mahiro's entertainment.
After they've worked for awhile, Momiji sighs with relief and notes that they should take a break. As soon as the Asahi goo pile hears this, she immediately reforms and happily notes that it's snack time. Miyo is amazed that Asahi came back to life, and Momiji notes that she always does when the need becomes self-serving. Nayuta notes that it's good to replenish one's blood sugar, and Asahi gets up saying that she'll ask her mom for more snacks.
Asahi opens her door and walks out, only to slam directly into someone larger than her. The person, a boy, tells Asahi that she should know not to run indoors, which Asahi agrees to. Mahiro asks who it is, and Momiji says hi to the boy, who she refers to as Asahi's brother, Yuya. Mahiro panics, noting that this is is the same brother who apparently peeps on Asahi in the bath every day. Yuya calls Momiji 'Momijro', saying that it's been a long time. Momiji cringes at this, asking why he can't stop using the 'jiro'. Miyo notes that Momiji and Yuya are so friendly, and wonders if Yuya is going to step between the yuri pair of Mahiro and Momiji.
With their own reasons for doing so, Mahiro and Miyo give Yuya rather unpleasant looks, much to his confusion. Yuya notes that this is his first time meeting the rest of them, and thanks them for being friends with his little sister. Nayuta notes that they met the other day, and Yuta notes that that's true, much to Mahiro's shock. Yuya tells them to make themselves at home, as he's off to his cram school lessons. Yuya leaves, and Asahi waves him off saying that she'll see him later.
As soon as Asahi sits back down, Mahiro and Miyo crowd in close to her demanding to know what the deal is with Yuya, much to Asahi's confusion. Momiji explains that she's known Yuya since she and Asahi were in elementary school, with Asahi saying that Momiji came over to play all the time. Miyo asks in a sinister tone if there's nothing more than that, to which Momiji confirms that there's nothing more. She says that if there was, she'd end up with Asahi as her sister-in-law. Asahi is confused at this while Miyo is shocked. After a few more seconds, Miyo notes that that idea is not so bad, something which Mahiro chaotizes Miyo for even considering.
Mahiro angrily asks about Nayuta, and Asahi explains that Nayuta comes over sometimes. Mahiro is shocked and asks if Nayuta comes over here alone, which Nayuta confirms. Miyo is aroused by this, and notes that she never knew that such a relationship was developing under her nose. Momiji feels left out and asks Nayuta to come over to her place as well. Mahiro sighs and notes that its nice that the socially awkward Nayuta can be engaged this much.
Mahiro suddenly snaps back to reality and says that she can't ignore the fact that Yuya peeps on his little sister in the bath every night. Asahi innocently says in confusion that Yuya doesn't peep, which causes Mahiro to feel extremely guilty over having acted so rude to him. Miyo, who also though the same thing, notes that maybe they should both apologize. Asahi says with a sinister chuckle that Yuya can be scary when he's angry.
Nayuta notes that they should get back to studying as well, which causes Asahi to freeze and collapse into a pile of goo again, much to everyone's shock.
Soon enough, the drinks are finished. Mahiro asks Asahi if Yuya has exams soon, which Asahi confirms. Nayuta notes that that must be why he mentioned cram school. Asahi notes that Yuya is a good student who studies every day. She adds that he helps with the housework as well and also plays with her sometimes. All of these things appear to stab Mahiro from within and she soon cries out in pain before collapsing on top f the table. Momiji asks Mahiro if she's okay, and Mahiro notes that it's just an old injury, much to Nayuta's confusion. Miyo notes since Yuya is so busy, it must be why Asahi doesn't just ask him to tutor her, which Asahi confirms. Momiji then wonders about that, and notes that Asahi could at least ask Yuya for his old study guides. Asahi notes that that's true, and bets that they'd find some if they looked. Asahi begins to push Mahiro towards Yuya's room asking for her help in looking, as she wouldn't be able to tell which study guides are good herself. Mahiro agrees to help her.
As Asahi runs into Yuya's room, Mahiro asks if they should really be here without permission. Asahi says that its fine as she's in here all the time. Mahiro picks up a book and laughs to herself, noting that the diligent brother and no-good sister isn't anything like she imagined. She then notes though that even a diligent older brother is still a boy, and notes that she's sure that Yuya has some illicit vices to hide. Mahiro gets out her special eye to look; a technique born from the experience that reveals the hiding places of pornographic content.
As Asahi looks through the bookshelf, Mahiro decides to start with the standard hiding place; under the bed. She finds a basic photobook called Sweet Lover, and notes that it is boring. She looks at the next hiding place behind the desk and sees another hidden book there. She looks under the false bottom of his dresser and notes that Yuya is apparently a boobs fan.
Although her suspicions were confirmed, she notes that all of these pornographic books are simple misdirections while glancing at the closet. Opening the closet, Mahiro notes that the true hidden treasure will be where Asahi would never look. Mahiro sees the target in question, the inside of a thick, heavy book about transcendental idealist philosophy. Opening it up, there is indeed something very explicit inside it (something so intense that it is pixelated with Mihari noting that it can't be shown in an all ages manga). Mahiro is shocked, noting that Yuya's perverted power level is off the charts. Asahi appears behind Mahiro and asks if she found anything. Mahiro slams the book shut and looks around, eventually seeing something useful.
The two return to the others with a book, and Asahi notes that they found a good one. Looking over it, Momiji, Miyo, and Nayuta note that this is the most popular reference book series. Nayuta notes that 'Everything Explained' is one of the best, with this book foced on junior high math probability. Asahi puts her arm around Mahiro and says that them finding it was all thanks to her. Momiji gasps at the situation while Mahiro silently vows to Yuya to keep his secret, referring to him as a fellow pervert.
As Momiji agrily pulls Mahiro into her arms, Mahiro notes to Asahi that she really shouldn't go into Yuya's room without permission as she may accidently open Pandora's box. Miyo cheers over the situation while Asahi is left confused, not knowing that Mahiro means. Mahiro silently tells Yuya to hang in there.
Meanwhile, Yuya remains very confused about the way that Mahiro and Miyo acted when they saw him.
