Mahiro and the Charming School Festival (Part 1) (まひろと魅惑の文化祭（前編）, Mahiro To Miwaku No Bunkasai (Zenpen)) is Chapter 65 of Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!. It was originally published on Pixiv on June 25, 2022.

The students of Class 2-B discuss what they should do for the upcoming cultural festival.
Plot[]
During class, Momiji is seen sitting at her desk fidgeting with her hands between her legs. Mahiro tells her that if she needs to use the restroom she should go now. Momiji, very embarassed, points of that that's not it. She asks Mahiro if she knows how their school festival is coming up this month, with Nayuta adding that they're supposed to decide what their class is doing in homeroom today. Mahiro is surprised that that's what Momiji is all fidgety about, and ends up feeling very nostalgic for the school festivals she attended years ago as a boy.
Asahi asks Mahiro if this will be her first middle school festival. Mahiro is caught off guard by that question while Momiji's mood perks up at this. She notes with a smug expression that it's not like it was back in elementary school. Mahiro says that she can't wait with a bit of a nervous expression.
Soon, the students of Class 2-B put their ideas for the festival to a vote, coming up with several ideas that each get different levels of support:
- Arcade: 3 Votes
- Maze: 6 Votes
- Play: 4 Votes
- Haunted House: 6 Votes
- Cafe: 12 Votes
Based on the results of the vote, class rep Aoi Tachikawa announces that it looks like their class will be doing a cafe this year, much to everyone's enjoyment.
Nodoka asks what kind of cafe, with Momiji adding devilishly that it'll be boring if there's no twist. Asahi suggests a cat cafe, but Miyo shoots the idea down by pointing out that they can't have animals on school grounds.
Minori says that she has it and suggests that they do a maid cafe. She says that she's always wanted to dress up like a maid, with Satsuki saying that cosplay sounds fun. Mari-chan-sensei has a sour expression on her face, and Minori asks if they would need to stay within dress codes. Upon hearing this, Mari immediately changes her expression and joyfully says that if it's during the festival it's okay, and the students become very excited. Mahiro is delighted by the idea of a maid cafe, saying that it'll be a feast for the eyes. Nayuta then points out to Mahiro that she'll be dressed up too, and Mahiro cringes upon the realization of this.
Yuta and Minato are also excited, imagining Mahiro dressed as a maid. Satsuki and Minori notice their expressions and tell them not to be weird. Yuta is left in shock, wondering if those two are mind readers or something.
Miyako asks what the boys are going to wear with Mai also wanting to know. Minato suggests butler uniforms, but Minori shoots that down. Instead, she says that this situation calls for the boys to wear maid outfits as well, an idea that Satsuki also finds to be fun. The boys on the other hand are not into this idea at all. Tomoya calls it tyranny and Takeshi demands that they take a vote on it. Aoi says that it sounds fair and asks for all those who are in favor. In the end, the boys lose the vote with Yuta pointing out that it is due to the fact that the girls outnumber them in class. Mahiro is revealed to have voted 'yes' as well, apologizing internally to the boys saying that they're all dying together.
With that officially decided, Aoi says that they need to decide who's doing what and split into groups today, and then start working on what needs to be done tomorrow. Everyone immediately agrees to this.
When everyone gets into their groups, Mahiro is amazed that Miyo chose the costuming group. Miyo says that she's been waiting for a chance like this. She says that this is her first time making clothes, and that she knows that she'll learn a lot from this. Nayuta calls Miyo very talented. Miyo admits that it was hard to decide between that and the cooking group. Asahi says that she made a good choice, which leads to Momiji whacking her on the head for saying that.
Soon enough, the preparations for the festival begin. Aoi leads Momiji, Nodoka, and Takeshi for budget allowcations for ingredients, costumes, and decorations, after which they ask Mari-chan-sensei for the necessary funds. Mahiro looks over the proposed menu and thinks that meat might be a good option, something that Momiji has to say no too. Asahi, Nayuta, and Nemu work on creating star-shaped hanging decorations. Yuriko Kitahara shows Miyo, Satsuki, Minori, and Minato how to sew the outfits with Miyo taking extensive notes.
Time eventually flies by until Miyo informs Mahiro that the maid uniforms are done. Mahiro congratulates Miyo for her good work, while Miyo is just relieved that they got them all done in time. She adds that they're doing fittings in an unused classroom right now and asks Mahiro if she could try one on. Mahiro sighs but admits that it seems that she has too, with Momiji jumping up to say that she wants to see it.
Leading them to the classroom, Miyo says that each one is going to be worn by multiple people so she's a little worried about sizing. Momiji asks if she's also got the ones for the boys as well, with Mahiro realizing that this is a last-minute sanity check.
Opening the doors, Mahiro and Momiji are amazed by the two models for the maid outfits in the room, with Mahiro noting that they really went all-out. Mahiro then realizes that she doesn't recognize them and hides behind Momiji asking who they are. Momiji notes that she doesn't recognize them either, and Satsuki is pleased that they don't. When Mahiro examines the brown-haired one more closely, she realizes in shock that these two are actually Yuta and Minato. Yuta says that it's not what it look like, and says that the girls are messing with them by having them wear wigs. As the boys cringe out embarassment, Satsuki asks the others if the two look pretty nice. Momiji says that it's incredible and tells the boys that they look very cute while Miyo is pleased that they fit perfectly. Aoi feels a bit aroused seeing the boys like this while Mahiro doesn't know how to react.
The girls continue to swarm Yuta and Minato telling them they look nice and cute. The boys feel very embarassed at this with Yuta eventually asking them in a cute way to please stop. Upon seeing this, Mahiro suddenly feels kinship like never before. She shakes Yuta by the shoulders and tells him that she gets it and knows exactly what he's going through. She tells the boys that it's all right and that they'll get used to it in no time, which leaves them both very confused.
Mahiro decides to show them how it's done and changes into her maid uniform. After posing, she points out that this is the way to steel your resolve and wear it proud. The boys immediately feel something powerful, noting that Mahiro seems so manly today.
Satsuki calls out the boys again, with the two wondering what they did this time. Aoi continues to become more aroused, while Miyo is thrown into confusion wondering if this counts as yuri.
Momiji tells Mahiro how cute she is and asks Mahiro to turn around and so a spin for her. Mahiro does so while continuing to keep her resolve.
Minato decides to do a spin as well and gets confused by the flow of the skirt on the uniform, much to Yuta's bewilderment.
