Plot[]
On the day of the cultural festival, Mahiro, Momiji, and Nayuta meet up outside the school gates. Mahiro is amazed that it is opening day already, with Nayuta mentioning how excited she is.
As the three head up to class 2-B, they run into Aoi who thanks everyone for their hard work getting everything ready for today, adding that everyone's cooperation helped them get all of it finished in time. Asahi says that is it time to have some fun, causing Mahiro to suffer a pratfall. Miyo and Nayuta are left behind to be a part of the first shift along with Aoi, Mai, Miyako, Akira, and Takeshi. Miyo tells Mahiro, Momiji, and Asahi to make sure to come back when it's their turn to be on duty, and Momiji promises to remind them.
As Asahi sees all the stalls that have been set up by the other classes, she becomes overwhelmed by how awesome it all is and tries to decide what they should do first. Momiji tells Asahi to take a deep breath and calm down, as she's already researched all the attractions. Asahi is pleased that Momiji was just as excited as her, while Momiji points out the optimal route to see everthing that looks good. Mahiro is a bit surprised as how quickly they're planning to do everything and notes to herself that things are about to get hectic.
Asahi plays a throwing game and ends up winning at it big. Mahiro and Momiji attend a fortunetelling booth. Mahiro and Asahi enjoy some Pocky snacks from the stalls. The three observe an art gallery with Mahiro and Momiji thinking about it what they see while Asahi doesn't get any of it. The three also attend a stand-up-comedy show and find it very enjoyable.
Afterwards, Mahiro asks Momiji and Asahi what they did as a class last year before she started attending with them. Momiji says that they put on a mini science fair, and Mahiro admits that it doesn't sound very exciting. Momiji agrees but adds that it was nice not to have to work during the festival.
Asahi is reminded of the work they have to do and wishes that Miyo and Nayuta could've come with them. Momiji says that she'll let them know when they get back.
Deciding to figure out all of the best attractions, Asahi says that they should check out everything, pointing to a nearby haunted house attraction. Momiji tries to immediately veto the suggestion, but Mahiro points out that it can't be too scary since it was made by middle schoolers. Mahiro and Asahi cutely beg Momiiji to come with them, and Momiji eventually breaks, telling them not to tease her.
Momiji reluctantly steps into the haunted house. Mahiro points out how even the ghosts are cuter then they are scary. Momiji still feels uneasy, but sighs and thinks that she'll be fine. At that moment, Asahi decides to sneak up behind Momiji and says "boo" in her ear causing her to jump in terror. As Momiji reels on the floor, Mahiro tells Asahi not to be mean after which Asahi apologizes.
Meanwhile in Class 2-B, Nayuta notes that it is time to switch shifts, with Akira noting that Mahiro and the others sure are running late. Mahiro enters the classroom and apologizes for keeping everyone waiting. Miyo is relieved, noting that she getting worried. As the others come in, Miyo notes that Asahi has a large bump on her head while Momiji has changed into her gym clothes. Miyo asks about the gym clothes, with Mahiro just saying that it's better that she doesn't ask.
The second shift soon begins consising of Mahiro, Momiji, Asahi, Satsuki, Minori, Yuta, and Minato. Asahi tells everyone that she's ready while showing herself off in the maid outfit. Miyo fawns over Asahi saying that she looks great and also tells Momiji the same same thing saying that she's sure that the customers will go crazy for this. Momiji isn't sure about that, but Mahiro points out that she's just so cute and the everyone is squaling over all of them.
At that moment though, the crowd has found someone new to fawn over. The girls have started crowding around Yuta and Minato, being overwhelmed by how good they look in the uniforms. As the boys tell them to stop and that they don't have to stare, Momiji notes that it looks like they're even more crazy about the boys.
Mahiro immediately feels a strange sense of competitiveness, realizing that she's going to lose to some newcomers. She thinks to herself how she has a whole year's head start and declares that those two don't stand a chance. She decides to show them how much difference experience makes, while Momiji looks on in confusion. Satsuki announces that she's letting in the next customers, and Mahiro smiles noting that this is her chance.
Mahiro immediately does an overwhelmeingly cute sugar-sweet impression of "Welcome Home, Master" without seeing who it is that she's talking to. The customers turn out to be Mihari and Kaede, and Mahiro turns beet red out of embarassment once she sees that it's them. As Mahiro begins to cringe, Kaede apologizes saying that they just wanted to peek in on her. Mahiro tells them to just forget what they saw while Mihari is overjoyed at how cute Mahiro was just then.
Asahi notices that Mihari and Kaede have arrived and call out to them. Kaede is amazed at how adorable Momiji and Asahi are. As the two sit down, Kaede takes out her phone to snap some pictures of them. Momiji points out that there's a fee for pictures, but Kaede joyously says that she'll pay it. Minori yells over to Mahiro to quit talking and start helping out, and Mahiro apolgizes. As Mahiro and Momiji beganin to service other customers, Kaede laughs and notes that it looks like they caused quite a stir. Mihari wipes away her tears of happiness noting that Mahiro is doing so well.
A note mentions that although adapting to service work was a challenge, as seen by Asahi almost causing a tray of drinks to topple over on herself, the shift ultimately passed without incident.
Eventually, Nodoka and Nemu arrive to begin their service with the third shift, much to Mahiro's delight. Mahiro sighs in relief that they are finally free, with Asahi noting that she had a ton of fun. Mahiro puts her arms around both Yuta and Minato's shoulders and congratulates them for making it. Yuta and Minato thank Mahiro and are left in a daze at her being so close to them. Satsuki tries to call out to the boys to no avail, and Mahiro realizes that she may have gone too far with her act of kindness.
Momiji suggests that they hand over their uniforms so they can show Miyo and Nayuta around, which Mahiro agrees to. Soon after, the three meet up with Miyo and Nayuta and eventually see a massive balloon display. Mahiro notes that no matter what, they sure enjoyed the festival to its fullest.
The next day in class, Aoi congratulates everyone for their good work, with Mari-chan-sensei mentioning how their cafe was very popular. She hopes that the experience was beneficial to them, and everyone agrees. Mahiro however notes that for the next few days the boys of Class 2-B were acting very weird. More specifically Takeshi and Tomoya, who were strongly against the idea, are now acting much more femine than before. Mahiro shudders at this and hopes that it isn't permanent for her own sake.
It is revealed that Mahiro waited on Mihari when she ordered food, causing Mihari to smile in ecstasy.
