Plot[]
On Mihari's actual birthday, she says good morning to Mahiro as Mahiro tiredly enters the bathroom. Mahiro then perks up after noticing that Mihari smells good today. She starts sniffing Mihari and wonders where she's smelled that before. Mahiro doing this eventually freaks Mihari out and she shoves a towel in Mahiro's face telling her to have some tact.
Mihari explains that the smell is this perfume that Kaede gave to her. Kaede appears in the doorway confirming this fact and explaining that it's her favorite.
Mahiro is surprised to see Kaede, and asks her what she is doing here so early. Kaede explains that she has to work after school today, s if she wanted her present to be on time it had to be given before school. Momiji comes into the room as well and wishes Mihari a happy birthday, adding that they also came to take Mahiro to school. Mihari apologizes to Momiji for troubling her as well.
Mahiro continues to sniff Mihari, noting that the purfume smells just like Kaede. Mihari gets irritated and decides to spray Mahiro with some of the purfume so that she'll back off. As Mahiro reels from it, Mihari tells her that if she's going to sniff, she should sniff herself. Kaede laughs and tells Mahiro to try fluffling her hair a bit. Mahiro does so, and is soon enveloped by the scent of the perfume.
Mahiro feels bliss with the scent, saying that her whole body is enveloped by a sweet aroma, and imagines her and Kaede naked with Kaede embracing her from behind.
Back in the real world, Kaede tells Mahiro that this is good as she's getting more girly, though Momiji wonders how this constitutes "more girly". This causes Mahiro to snap out of it in a panic.
Mahiro wonders if the teacher is going to yell at her again for this, and Mihari notes that this might be a problem. Kaede tells Mahiro to tell the teacher that it is just the scent of her shampoo if she asks.
At school, all the girls gather around Mahiro's desk, drawn by the scent of her perfume. Mai says that it is very aggressive, while Miyako notes that she loves the scent. Mahiro notes that this situation feels familiar. Asahi says that it smells her very well, leading Mahiro to wonder what that even means. Nayuta comments that it is a mature scent, leading Mahiro to cringe and ask her not to drop hints.
As the girls keep sniffing Mahiro, Momiji is amazed that even Asahi and the others are drawn to it. Miyo on the other hand is aroused by the girl-on-girl action she is seeing. She asks Momiji if she wants to join them, but Momiji points out that she smells it every day. Miyo takes this out of context, imagining that Mahiro and Momiji do this kind of thing everyday, and wonders what they could possibly be doing together.
Mahiro is overwhelmed yells for Momiji to save her, and Momiji tells everyone that the show is over, much to their disappointment.
Mahiro sighs in relief, noting that things have finally calmed down. As she sits at her desk, a breeze from the nearby open window blows the scent of the perfume over to where Yuta and Minato are sitting. They note that it is a pleasant scent, and realize that it is coming from Mahiro. Mahiro notices that they're looking at her even more than usual and wonders if it can be the perfume. Feeling a strange sense of superiority, Mahiro supposes that there's nothing she can do, as it might be just too much for middle school boys to handle. She apologizes to the boys while smiling, which causes them to melt inside.
At that point, Satsuki and Minori appear and block Yuta and Minato's view of Mahiro, telling them to stop right there. Satsuki tells them that there is no ogling the girls, and Minori calls them both perverts. Yuta and Minato panic, noting that it's the "gaze police". Mahiro realizes that this is happening because of her and decides to do something about it.
In the bathroom, Mahiro notes that she isn't even trying to lead them on, and decides that she's better head off the conflict at the pass. She tries to get rid of the scent by wiping off the perfume, but notes that it doesn't seem to be working. She decides to ask the fashionable girl squad, Mai and Miyako, for help.
At that moment, Mari passes by Mahiro and catches a scent of the perfume. She then suggests to Mahiro that they have a little talk in the office, which gets Mahiro frightened.
After school, Mahiro lies facedown on the couch thrashing about, noting that what happened was just unreasonable. Mari scolded Mahiro and told her that this was her final warning. Mihari returns home and announces it, being surprised that Mahiro is back already. Mahiro gets angry and Mihari and begins to tell her that today was a nightmare because of her.
Mahiro then picks up another scent and begins to sniff Mihari again, much to Mihari's surprise. Mahiro notes that Mihari smells like Korean Barbecue. Mihari tells her that her seniors at the university treated her to lunch out today, leading Mahiro to get upset that Mihari got barbecue while she was suffering.
Mahiro throws her head into Mihari's chest, begging her to let her smell it at least, causing Mihari to shriek. Mahiro takes off Mihari's lab coat and puts it on while continuing to smell it, noting that she thinks that she likes this one the best. Mihari wonders what's gotten into Mahiro, but understands that she prefers food over flowers.
Mahiro begins to feel kind of sick as the scents from the perfume and barbecue are mixing. Mihari calls Mahiro silly for doing what she did.
