Plot[]
In class, Mari announces that today is their annual health screening. She tells them to change into their gym clothes and gather in the gymnasium for their physical exams.
As everyone leaves the classroom, Mahiro hears Mai and Miyako talking about how hungry they are. Mahiro realizes that girls are always so worried about their weight, and have been fasting to try and keep it low before the health screening. Mahiro notices Miyo struggling, and asks her if she skipped breakfast as well saying that it's not good for her. Miyo says that that's not it, saying that it's shark week. Mahiro apologizes, while Asahi is confused by that statement.
In the locker room, Mahiro allows her dress to fall to the floor easily. Nayuta, amazed, notes that Mahiro is quiet vigilant, and Mahiro says that she's grown used to it. Mahiro slides off her shirt and says that just in case, she doesn't want to get checked down below, calling it embarrassing. She starts to wonder how much one needs to take off for a school physical anyway.
Mahiro starts to ask Nayuta, then sees Nayuta in her bra and realizes that Nayuta is very flat chested. Mahiro makes a prayer sign and enjoys the sight, comparing it to the "wondrous uninterrupted cascade of Angel Falls".
Nayuta gets embarrassed and asks Mahiro if she could not stare at her like that. Mahiro apologizes, realizing that she's being creepy again, and calls herself scum. Nayuta tells her that she doesn't have to go that far, but Mahiro bangs her head against the wall saying how she's been so inconsiderate lately and needs to shape up and remember her place.
While this is happening, Asahi and Momiji catch a glimpse of how flat chested Nayuta is. Happy to have someone new who is like them, the two dub the three of them "The Flat Chest Squad". Afterwards, Nayuta compares her development to Mahiro's. Mahiro feels embarrassed, while Miyo struggles to undress due to her insecurity about her developed figure.
In the gym, Rin tells everyone to make sure that they visit each exam station. She adds that once they're done, female students will report to the nurse's office for their physicals.
Momiji suggests to Mahiro that they go together, and Mahiro agrees while thinking to herself that she shouldn't peek at others' results. Mahiro also tells Miyo not to push herself, and Miyo thanks her. Both actions are an attempt by Mahiro to be more considerate.
Momiji notices that Mahiro is wearing her hair differently, wearing it in low-hanging side pigtails similar to Miyo. Mahiro says that she though her ponytail would get in the way of the height checker. Nayuta agrees, saying that they'll want to check for scoliosis. Asahi is amazed, having been completely unaware of that.
The friends go through each station. Momiji checks Asahi's height. Mahiro checks Miyo's weight, the latter of whom is worried about it. Momiji takes the eye test, while realizing that the eye blocker makes her look dashing, much to Mahiro's dismay. Nayuta and Asahi pair up for the hearing test. Mahiro notices that they don't do chest measurements anymore, and thinks how considerate that is. Asahi and Momiji competed to see who would win at their exams, and Asahi won again. Momiji complains, remarking that body-mass-index (BMI) should count for more. Nayuta says that that just leaves the physical exam.
Mahiro finally asks her question about how much they need to take off for the exam. Momiji says that they need to take off everything above the waist, and Mahiro is surprised, noting that that's not very considerate. Miyo hopes for a female doctor this year, and Mahiro realizes that she definetly doesn't want a man examining her. She then realizes that they're doctors, and that it's rude for her to think of them that way, as it is all for their health.
Asahi says that she doesn't mind, saying that her brother sees her naked all the time. Mahiro imagines Asahi's brother being a pervert peeping on her while she's bathing. In actuality, Asahi tends to bathe and then walk around the house naked, causing her brother to yell at her to put some clothes on.
In the Nurse's Office, the doctor calls for the next student. Mahiro decides that she is ready, having stripped so that she is naked from the waist up. The doctor tells Mahiro that she can open the curtain now, and Mahiro does so. She cringes at it, noting that this was way easier as a boy. The doctor says Mahiro's name, and Mahiro opens her eyes to see that the doctor is a woman, much to her relief.
The doctor says that she'll have a look at Mahiro. She tells Mahiro to take a deep breath as she checks her heartbeat. She says that she is going to touch Mahiro now as she checks for scoliosis and finds none. Finally, she tugs out the front of Mahiro's pants to check down below and seems satisfied. Mahiro is shocked and notes that that's very inconsiderate. The doctor tells Mahiro that she's in perfect health and tells Mahiro to get dressed. Mahiro returns behind the curtain, cringing as she realizes that they really do need to look down there for girls.
As Mahiro gets dressed, she cringes and wishes Nayuta good luck, much to Nayuta's confusion. As Nayuta opens the curtain, it becomes clear that she knows the doctor, referring to her as Onee-san. She asks the doctor what she is doing here, and the doctor tells Nayuta that it is good to see her. As the doctor examines her, Nayuta asks her if she should be at the university. The doctor says that she is taking the day off, and that she wanted to see Mahiro for herself, revealing that she knows about Mihari's experiment. She adds that she saw something quite extraordinary; Mahiro's panties. Nayuta tells her not to tease people like that, while the doctor also says that they should keep this a secret from Mihari.
In the locker room, Mahiro thinks to herself that she should've worn cuter underwear, which catches Momiji's attention. This thought is proof that Mahiro's girlishness is only increasing whether she wants it to or not. Mahiro wonders if all the girls wore something lacy and asks Momiji to show her her underwear, much to Momiji's shock.
