To celebrate the new year, Mihari drinks some of Kaede's amazake.
Plot[]
At the Hozuki residence, everyone has changed into casual wear and are about to eat dinner. Mahiro is amazed at this being Kaede's cooking, and Mihari notes that it wouldn't be New Year's Day without it, wondering if she should've made some as well. Kaede mentions that she also made some amazake, which Mihari has never had before. Asahi asks Mihari if she should be drinking, and Miyo remarks that amazake is okay for minors as long as they don't have too much. Momiji adds that most of the alcohol gets cooked off, and Mahiro adds that it is perfectly legal.
Mihari takes a single sip of the amazake and starts looking dazed. Mahiro asks her if she's alright, to which Mihari starts chuckling. Mihari hugs Mahiro saying that she loves her, also calling her "onii-chan", much to Mahiro's shock. Mihari starts kissing Mahiro on the cheek repeatedly. Mahiro tells her to quit is as there are people watching, and Kaede is shocked that Mihari got drunk off of a low alcohol drink like amazake.
Kaede pulls Mihari off of Mahiro, telling her that that is not her brother, telling her to wake up. Mihari decides to instead is Kaede on the lips, referring to her as "onee-chan", much to Kaede's shock. Mahiro is scared, realizing that Mihari is totally wasted.
Mahiro tells the others fall back and retreat to Momiji's room or else they'll be next. Momiji and Asahi gladly do, but Miyo remains still. Mahiro tells her to hurry up, but Miyo says that she can't as she's paralyzed with ecstasy at this. Mihari then glares at Miyo, leading Mahiro to say "uh-oh".
Some time later, Mihari wakes up, fully sober. Asahi is shocked that she's awake, while Momiji asks if she's okay. Mihari has no memory of what happened and asks Kaede and Mahiro what happened. The two remain silent on that.
Kaede tells Mihari that she is banned from alcohol for the rest of her life, which leaves Mihari confused. Miyo gives Mihari a lovey-dovey expression, calling her "onee-sama", having been presumably kissed by her as well, much to Mihari's shock.

- "ベーゼ" (be-ze) in the original title is baiser, French for "kiss."
- The events of this chapter occur directly after the events of "Mahiro Rings in the New Year".
- As mentioned in the previous chapter, osechi is a set of box-lunch-like meals prepared in advance, as it's considered bad luck in Japan to cook for the first three days of the year.
- As mentioned in the chapter, amazake is a very low alcohol wine consumed during New Year's celebrations. This shows off how Mihari has zero tolerance for alcohol, becoming drunk after a single sip of it.
- This is the only 0.5 chapter to be released on Pixiv as opposed to one of the doujinshi volumes.
