Mahiro comes down with a sudden cold, and with it comes the unexpected return of her "comrade".
Plot[]
Previously, Mahiro caught a cold while doing an experiment in an attempt to get bigger boobs. Now she is confined to her bed with Mihari watching over her.
Mihari measures Mahiro's temperature, and notes that she isn't faking as it's currently at 38.9°C. Mahiro feels bad that Mihari thinks that she's lying, asking if she trusts her. Mihari asks if there are any other symptoms. Mahiro lists a drippy nose, sore throat, and an upset stomach as other symptoms. Mihari decides to feel around, and while doing so squishes something that should not be there. Mahiro's "comrade" has returned.
Mihari is suprised, this being the second time that she's touched Mahiro's "thingy". Mahiro sits up, amazed that this weird feeling is her beloved "comrade" being back and rejoices over his long awaited return. Mihari is concerned, as the medicine shouldn't be wearing off for a while yet, and wonders if it is because of Mahiro's cold. Mahiro isn't concerned about the why, and decides to take this chance to pamper her beloved "comrade-in-arms" while it lasts. She suddenly collapses forward feeling terrible.
Mihari tucks Mahiro back in and tells her not to say silly things like that, saying that she needs her rest. She tells Mahiro to get some sleep, saying that they should get rid of the cold before anything else. She notes that this is an unforeseen reaction, and that she's not sure what other unintended side effects may occur. Mahiro tells Mihari not to scare her like that. Mihari clicks off the bedroom light and tells Mahiro to stay in bed, also to call for her if it gets any worse, to which Mahiro agrees.
In bed, Mahiro groans, noting that it's been so long since she got sick. She also kicks herself for letting this happen all because she wanted bigger boobs, noting that it was dumb even for her. She notes that the whole thing worries her and decides to put her health first, going to sleep under the covers shortly afterward.
Later that evening, the doorbell rings. Mahiro wakes up and yawns, noting that she slept a lot and does feel a bit better at least. Mahiro looks in a mirror and sighs with relief that she still looks the same. Hearing the doorbell ring again, Mahiro wonders if it's a deliveryman. She knocks on Mihari's door, telling her to answer it, but Mihari doesn't respond. Mahiro goes downstairs to answer it herself, wondering where Mihari is as she said that she'd be around. Mahiro cannot believe that Mihari would leave a sick person alone like this as the doorbell rings a third time.
Mahiro wearily answers the door, and becomes suprised to see Momiji, Asahi, and Miyo standing there. Momiji suddenly yells that Mahiro answering the door is no good, saying that she should be in bed. Momiji and the others grab Mahiro and tuck her back in, much to her relief.
In Mahiro's room, Asahi explains that they were worried. Miyo mentions how Mahiro's health is so fragile, making Mahiro remember her "sickly child" cover story. Mahiro feels a bit guilty about deceiving them, but still thanks them for coming to check on her. Momiji tells Mahiro that if she needs anything to let them know, Mahiro agrees.
Deep down though, Mahiro panics. She thinks to herself that what she really needs is for them to scram, as she doesn't want another "unmentionables incident". To get them to leave, Mahiro points out that if they stay they might get sick also. Momiji tells her not to worry, and suggests that they give Mahiro a sponge bath, much to Mahiro's shock. Mahiro silently begs them to do anything but that, and tells them out loud that it's okay as she's not sweating that much. Miyo is aroused at the idea, while Momiji says that there is no need to be shy, pointing out that she's sure that it'll feel nice to be clean again. Asahi leaves the room saying that she's going to heat up some hot water.
Mahiro turns around begging them not to, saying that it's too embarrassing. Momiji says that it is fine and that they'll just wash her back, though Momiji thinks that there is no chance of that statement being true. Mahiro concedes and starts undressing, deciding that if they're satisfied with just washing her back, she'll just have to stop them from going any lower.
Asahi comes in with the bowl of hot water, but trips on a loose manga volume on the ground and accidently drops the bucket on Mahiro's head, soaking her. As Mahiro reels in shock, Momiji says that they have to get Mahiro dry and tells her to take off her pajamas. Mahiro tries to protest as Momiji starts to rip her clothes off and notes that it is all over. As Mahiro's pants come off, Miyo gasps and notes how smooth Mahiro is down there. Mahiro is confused and feels her private area. She realizes that is once again nothing down there, sighing in relief and noting that she is saved.
Mihari suddenly barges into the room demanding to know what's going on. Mahiro in turn angrily asks Mihari where she was, and Mihari points out that she just stepped out to buy groceries for dinner.
Soon after, Mihari thanks Momiji, Asahi, and Miyo for visiting. Momiji tells Mahiro that they'll see her at school while Asahi apologizes for what happened. Mahiro says that it's fine and tells her not to worry as nothing bad happened. She repeats that to herself, and Asahi gets confused.
As the three leave, Mihari remarks that the whole thing is still bugging her. She wonders what caused the drug to wear off temporarily. She remarks that they have to investigate further and asks Mahiro if thinks she can catch a cold again. Mahiro just sighs, noting how serious Mihari is about her research. Mahiro offers her own theory: that her body felt its life was in danger so the male reproductive instinct took over. She compares it to how a guy gets a stiffy when they're stressed out or tired.
Mihari is confused and asks what a stiffy is. Mahiro is shocked at how innocent Mihari is and whispers it in her ear. Mihari is shocked and hits Mahiro in the face with a pillow, calling her a pervert.
It is revealed that when Mihari was giving Mahiro cold medicine, she asked Mahiro if she wanted some of the strong stuff. Mahiro said that she would take anything but the suppository.
