Plot[]
An apparent female cat vampire says "hello from the virtual world" and thanks the unseen audience from tuning in. They suggest starting with some announcements, and it is revealed that Mahiro is watching a virtual broadcast on her computer.
Mihari notices it and asks Mahiro what she is watching. Mahiro tells her that it is a Vtuber livestream. Mahiro explains that the streamer uses motion capture software to control this cute girl avatar, almost like a real life anime. Mihari notes that it is very neat, but that the streamer sounds like a middle aged guy. Mahiro insists that that is what is so great about it, and says that it's wonderful that online you can be anyone, even a cute girl. Mihari wonders to herself if Mahiro hears what she is saying.
Mihari asks Mahiro if she's ever thought of doing something like this. Mahiro is confused, and Mihari explains that they wouldn't even need software since Mahiro is already a cute girl. Mahiro realizes that this is true, and thinks to herself that she is already the ultimate in cute girl avatars; this gives her an unbeatable advantage over these Vtubers.
Mahiro says that's it fun to think about, but actually doing it is something else. Mihari tells Mahiro that she'd be great as she's super cute. Mahiro questions this, as she doesn't know how to act or talk. Mihari tells her not to worry as she'll fix it in editing. Mahiro says that she guesses that they could give it a try. She may not be super into the idea, but admits that it doesn't hurt to indulge her sister every once in a while. Mihari smiles as she thinks about how she just played Mahiro like a fiddle.
Mihari starts recording as Mahiro gets ready to speak. Mahiro does an introduction where she introduces herself as "Real Virtual Streamer Mahiro" and mentions that she'll start her first stream by introducing herself. Mahiro explains that she is a run of the mill stay-at-home middle schooler. When she attempts to list her hobbies, she gets nothing and wonders what she is doing, and in front of her sister. Mihari, however, loves it and encourages Mahiro to continue.
Mahiro is too embarrassed and says that she can't, telling Mihari that they should stop. She also questions what is virtual about this anyway. Mihari meanwhile is over the moon over Mahiro's cuteness and tells her to just keep going, much to Mahiro's shock. Mahiro tries to snap her out of it, but Mihari keeps giving words of encouragement, telling Mahiro that she's the best. All this makes Mahiro's embarrassed expressions seem even more cute to Mihari.
Mahiro tries to do a cat impression. It fails, but Mihari keeps chuckling at how cute it is. Mahiro remarks the she wants to die, and collapses on the ground saying that if that video ever gets out that she's done for. Mihari tells Mahiro not to worry, promising that she won't show it to anyone. Mahiro is surprised that Mihari is not going to upload it, and Mihari points out that she never said anything about that. She just wanted to film it, and made a perfect home video. Mahiro is not happy that she did all that work for a home video. Mihari asks Mahiro if she'd rather have her upload it, saying that she was pretty excited about it, and prepares to do so. Mahiro just leaps at Mihari begging her to delete it, to which Mihari says that she never will.
Later, Mihari lies in bed watching the video and thinks to herself that she never would've thought that Mahiro was so talented. She looks through her ever growing strange collection, consisting of various photos of Mahiro. She has a photo of when she caught Mahiro playing as a female character in an MMO, when she had Mahiro try on her new swimsuit in the bath, when she got Mahiro a perm at the salon, and now her video of Mahiro pretending to be a cat. She smiles lovingly at all of them.
