Momiji's Nickname

Momiji's Nickname (もみじのあだ名, Momiji No Adana) is a bonus chapter of Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!. It was originally published in Doujinshi Volume 7 which was released on November 25, 2018.

Summary[]

During Mahiro's first day of school, she asks Asahi what her nickname for Momiji is.

Plot[]

During a class break, Asahi asks if she can copy Momiji's notes. Momiji smiles and asks Asahi if she fell asleep again, and Asahi just chuckles while Mahiro and Miyo look on silently.

Mahiro then asks Asahi if she has a nickname for Momiji like she does for her and Miyo (having given Mahiro the nickname 'Mahiron' and Miyo the nickname 'Miyochin'). Miyo realizes as well that she's never heard Asahi give Momiji a nickname.

Asahi tells them that she's had a nickname for Momiji since elementary school. Momiji remarks that it's embarrassing, so she asked Asahi not to use it.

This gets Miyo intrigued, and she says that she wants to know (the reason for never hearing about it before was because she went to a different elementary school from Asahi and Momiji).

Asahi remarks that her nickname for Momiji was 'Momijiro', causing Mahiro and Miyo to picture Momiji as a samurai.

Miyo laughs and remarks that it suits her. Asahi mentions that she at first thought Momiji was a boy, which is why she picked the name. Having made the same mistake, Mahiro agrees. All the while, Momiji feels embarrassed having her nickname finally exposed.

The events of this chapter take place during the events of "Mahiro's First Day", but after the events of "Miyo's Refusal".
This chapter was released as the third part of Chapter 21.5 in Japan, but was reclassified as a bonus chapter for its English release.
