Neon is a shopping mall in Onimai. It is a main shopping area for Mahiro Oyama, Mihari Oyama, Kaede Hozuki, Momiji Hozuki, Asahi Ōka, Miyo Murosaki, and Nayuta Tenkawa.

History

As seen in "Mihari's Wardrobe", Miharo once met up with Kaede in the mall to go shopping for clothes when they were both in middle school.

During the events of "Mahiro and the Girls' Day Out", Mahiro and Mihari come here to see a movie (My Name in the manga, Titanic in Space in the anime). There, they meet up with Kaede and spend several hours shopping before the movie starts. Right when Mahiro thinks they are done, Kaede remembers that she needs a new swimsuit and they head up to a store to try them on. Kaede, Mihari, and (reluctantly) Mahiro try on and buy their own swimsuits. Afterwards, they realize that they forgot about the movie. In the anime, they just make it just in time, while in the manga they miss it and agree to meet up again to see it another day.

In "Mahiro and Kaede's Secret", Mahiro tries to use the bathroom while seeing the movie, but doesn't make it due to a long line and wets herself in the stall. Kaede eventually notices that she's gone and finds her in this state. Kaede leaves to get Mahiro some clean underwear, and afterwards they return to the movie agreeing to keep the incident a secret.

In "Mahiro and the Seasonal Attire", Miyo takes Mahiro to the lingerie section of an unnamed clothing store in the mall so they can buy some full-cup bras; Miyo was excited that she finally had someone who could go with her now since Mahiro's bust was now large enough to wear them. Momiji, Asahi, and Nayuta had followed them, and left feeling dejected as they couldn't join in due to them still being flat chested.

In "Mahiro and the Strategy Meeting", Kaede takes Mahiro, Momiji, Asahi, Miyo, and Nayuta to the mall to pick out some new swimsuits for an upcoming trip to the beach. In the same swimsuit store, she helps each girl pick out a swimsuit that fits their bodies and caters to any preferences that they may have.

In "Nayuta's Swimsuit", Nayuta and Chitose return to the store to purchase the swimsuit that Kaede recommended to the former.

In "Mahiro's Masculine Ego", Mahiro and Mihari come to the mall to bum around. While there they visit an Oshima plush shop, Mahiro tries on several outfits at a women's fashion store on floor 2F, and the two get coffee at the Star Cafe. Shortly after, they run into Chitose and Nayuta who are alos on an outing. Mahiro and Nayuta split from the group to go to the arcade while Chitose notes how thankful she is to Mahiro for befirending Nayuta. Mahiro and Nayuta afterwards play a knock-out arcade game, which Nayuta wins much to Mahiro's disappointment. Mahiro afterwards plays a rhythm game called KiraPai.
