Tsubasa Inui (犬井 つばさ, Inui Tsubasa) is a scientist at Yotsuba University who works under Chitose Azuma and is one of Mihari Oyama's labmates.

Personality

Tsubasa has been noted as having a serious personaility, both personally and professionally. She is highly dedicated to her research and is looked up to as a role model by Mihari and Arika.

Despite this, it has been noted that she is not very good at taking care of herself as her hair is worn in a very messy style.

Tsubasa has a strange obsession with cats, with the drugs that she's developed being centered around them. One such drug is the Kitty Drug which temporarily turns the user into a cat-person with kitty ears and a tail, and also causes them to behave much like a cat during certain circumstances.

Despite her usually serious nature, Tsubasa has shown a playful side from time to time. When Mihari was transformed by the Kitty Drug, Tsubasa took advantage of the situation and began to wave a cat toy in front of Mihari to get her to react. Much like Mihari, she also has very little tolerance for alcohol and starts acting like a baby when she's drunk.

Etymology

• The name Tsubasa means "wing" (tsubasa).
