Yuya Ōka (
Appearance[]
Personality[]
In sharp contrast to his sister Asahi, Yuya is shown to be a calm, collected teenage boy who is seriously dedicated to his studies. His room is shown to be filled with books of all kinds, and it is mentioned that he regularly attends cram school. His reading material is so extensive, that Asahi and her friends have borrowed some of it in order to help them with their studies. He is also shown to have a kind and caring attitude towards his sister and her friends, though Asahi's stupidity sometimes leaves him feeling very embarrassed.
Like any teenage boy though, Yuya has a collection of dirty magazines and manga that he keeps hidden in multiple hiding places in his room. Only Mahiro, who knows what it's like to be a teenage boy, was able to figure out all of his hiding places, and where he would keep his most graphic material.
It has been shown that like most characters in the series, Yuya treasures Asahi's innocence and wishes for her to keep it for as long as possible. When she accidently stumbled across one of his dirty magazines, he lied by claiming that it was a magazine about wrestling, and much to his relief Asahi bought it.
From Asahi's first description of him (where she mentioned that he saw her naked all the time), Mahiro and the others were given the mistaken impression that he was a pervert and a peeping tom who was spying on his sister when she was in the bath. In reality though, Asahi tends to streak around the house after she takes a bath, much to Yuya's shock and embarrassment.
From what Asahi has said, Yuya also used to play the Lost Quest video game series that Mahiro enjoys greatly, though he appears to have given it up now that he's gotten older and become more dedicated to his studies.

Trivia[]
